General Description
The AS5134 is a contactless magnetic rotary position sensor for accurate angular measurement over a full turn of 360 degrees and over an extended ambient temperature of -40°C to +150°C. The absolute angle measurement provides instant indication of the magnet’s angular position with a resolution of 8.5 bit = 360 positions per revolution via a serial output over the interface and as a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal.

The AS5134-PB programming board is used for quick programming the AS5134 position sensor without soldering due to its ZIF socket. This board must be used in combination with the SD4Y-Programmer, which provides the chip with the adequate OTP programming commands.

The SD4Y Programmer is an in-system programming tool which is applicable for production environment. The SD4Y programmer supports: digital writing and reading; OTP programming and analog read back for the OTP verification. Additional the SD4Y programmer can use the AMS programming boards.

The AS5040 is a 10-bit rotary position sensor (previously known as encoder) for absolute angular measurement and with an incremental output over a full turn of 360° based on contactless magnetic sensor technology.
