MERANO-PD is an infrared (IR) laser flood illuminator module which provides the uniform light output needed in mobile 3D optical sensing applications.
The slim package is optimised for mobile devices. The integrated photodiode monitors the reflection from the device’s lens and thus feasible to trigger eye safety. Applications such as face recognition, augmented reality, 3D object scanning and 3D image rendering, as well as other industrial and automotive applications, will benefit from use of the Merano-PD.

Based on fast, efficient VCSEL technology, the PMSILPlus devices are optimized to deliver best-in-class performance in 3D sensing applications on a variety of platforms such as mobile, IoT and robotics. The PMSILPlus module includes resistive ITO for eye-safety.
The PMSILPlus modules produce 1W optical output power (CW) at 940nm and are offered with 76*60 FWHM field of illumination.
