Please note, the AS3953 antenna demo tag must be used in conjunction with a microcontroller (MCU) and connected via SPI. Consider the below options to start configuring the AS3953 antenna tag.
Options:
- Use the MCU from complete development kit that can be ordered here: www.ams.com/AS3953-DK-TAGS
- Download the development resources and build your own copy of the PIC 24 MCU board included in our development kit.
- Connect the AS3953 NFiC Antenna Tag to any MCU in your existing system. In case a different MCU than PIC24 is being used, the existing firmware of our development kit must be ported.

The AS3953 Demo Kit TAGS is all what you need to evaluate NFiC solutions. The kit includes near field interface antenna tags, a USB controller board, connectors and related software. The graphical user interface (GUI) enables you to quickly evaluate and get familiar to the AS3953 NFiC. It allows you to read/write the internal EEPROM as well as the configuration of the AS3953. The GUI also makes it possible to interact with an NFC enabled phone. The phone app can be found here: Android NFC, Windows 8
