Various cookies are operated by Google LLC and YouTube LLC, which process data in the USA (Google Analytics, Google AdWords).  By agreeing to the use of cookies from these providers, you give consent to the processing of your data into the USA (Art 49(1)(a) DSGVO). Furthermore, no court authorization is required for such access and EU citizens have no effective legal remedies against such access.

Use of Facebook Pixel

Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used.

With the support of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine you as a visitor to our online offer as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook Ads"). We will inform you before you call up a website if it contains Facebook pixel functions. If you call up the corresponding website after this information, a connection to Facebook is established.

We use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who exhibit certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not appear to be annoying. The Facebook pixel also enables us to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users are redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").

  • Legal basis: Consent
The use of the Facebook pixel as well as the storage of "conversion cookies" is done by consent in the cookie banner, thus on the basis of your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

  • Joint processing of personal data (Joint Controller Agreement)
In order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR, Facebook has described at https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum# that the respective site operator, in our case the Company, is jointly responsible with Facebook Ireland. Furthermore, it is confirmed that Facebook Ireland assumes the primary responsibility in accordance with the GDPR for the processing of data and also takes care of the rights of data subjects. The Company has taken note of the information about this agreement and made it part of the contract between the Company and Facebook.
The Company's responsibility is limited to the collection of the data in question and its disclosure by means of transmission (see also ECJ ruling, Ref.: C-40/17 "FashionID")

  • Objection to Facebook
Settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings.
