Mark Hamersma

Mr. Mark Hamersma joined ams-OSRAM AG in early 2016. With over 20 years experience in the technology industry, Mark is a welcome addition and brings a wealth of knowledge to ams OSRAM clients.

Prior to joining ams, Mark was a Senior Vice President with NXP Semiconductors, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, M&A and corporate communications, and also was General Manager of emerging businesses.

Mark worked for NXP Semiconductors for over 11 years. Previous to this, Mr. Hamersma was a partner at McKinsey & Company and focused on clients in high-tech, telecoms and private equity.

Mr. Hamersma holds Master of Science degree in Physics from Leiden University and a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He is a citizen of the Netherlands.
