• Perform design studies using optical modelling software (e.g. Zemax)

• Support the development of new sensing system concepts with optical modeling
• Provide progress updates and maintain timelines for multiple projects
• Work independently and collaborate with colleagues across the globe to solve challenging technical problems
• R&D concept evaluation by simulation and measurement

교육 목록

• Ph.D. in Photonics, Engineering Physics, or related scientific/technical area
• Three (3) or more years of experience with performing optical design studies and free space measurements in the near infrared
• Knowledge of Fourier optical methods and experience of working with free space optics
• Demonstrated experience using a common processing language (e.g. MATLAB, Python, Julia) and an optical design package (e.g. Zemax)
• Familiarity with the basics of laser and detectors in the near infrared
