Evaluation Kit for AS7026GG - Vital Signs
The AS7026GG Eval Kit is designed to evaluate all functions of the AS7026GG biosensor and test them in various applications. For full flexibility, biosensor (AS7026GG), temperature sensor (AS6200), accelerometer (LIS2DH12) and electrodes are located on the break out board, which can be used in any application and reconnected to the main board via FPC cable. There is also the option to attach different electrodes. After breaking off the Board it is also possible to connect the Add-On Board with the FPC cable or the Wristband with the PicoBlade connector. The Eval Kit works with USB connection to the PC and comes with a GUI, which enables the user to change AS7026GG register settings and see measurement results. The SDK containing algorithms for HRM, HRV and Blood Pressure. Any signals important for development can be probed easily at the pin headers.

AS7026GG Vital Signs Module
PPG is the most used HRM method which measures the pulse rate by sampling light modulated by the blood vessels, which expand and contract as blood pulses through them. ECG is the reference for any measurement of the bio potential generated by the heart. The AS7026 is supported by algorithms converting the PPG and ECG readings into digital HRM, HRV and Continuous Blood Pressure values. The cuff-less Blood Pressure Measurement has been optimized to fulfill the IEEE Std 1708-2014.
The module includes the LEDs, photo-sensor, analog front-end (AFE) and sequencer as well as application software. In addition to HRM/HRV and Blood Pressure, the module also enables skin temperature and skin resistivity measurements by providing interfaces to external sensors.
The AS7026’s low-power design and small from factor is particularly well suited to application in fitness bands, smart watches, sports watches and smart patches, in which board space is limited and in which users look for extended, multi-day intervals between battery recharges.
