The Business Unit Automotive (AM) develops, produces and sells lamps, light modules and sensor components for automotive applications in both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket segments. This includes conventional and LED-based solutions.
The Advanced Optical Sensors business provides market-leading sensor solutions that improve the human experience and well-being by sensing types of light both visible and invisible to the human eye. The Image Sensor Solutions business aims to become the uncontested leader in optical imaging solutions extending human vision. ISS products are mainly produced in Austria and Singapore.

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
