Socket Board for AS5070
AS5070SocketBoard
The AS5070-SO_EK_SB socket board is used for quick programming of the AS5070A and AS5070B magnetic rotary position sensors without soldering due to its ZIF socket. This board can be used in combination with the AS5xxx-EK-USB-PB UART Programming Board and the provided LabVIEW evaluation software.
The PCB offers direct connecting option to the AS5xxx-EK-USB-PB UART Programmer with the 4-pin single-row connector on the left side. A ZIF Open-Top-Socket for SOIC8 packages is mounted in the middle. Pin 1 of the IC is indicated by a small white dot on the PCB.
All passive components needed for proper operation are included on bottom side the PCB.

The AS5xxx Programming Board is used for quick programming the ams magnetic angle position sensor with 1 wire UART interface. This board can be used in combination with the socket boards and adapter boards of the AS5161/62 and AS5261/62, which provides the chip with the adequate OTP programming data.
Adapter Board for AS5070

The AS5070 adapter board is a small PCB allowing simple and quick testing or evaluation of the AS5070 magnetic position sensor without the need to design and manufacture an own PCB.
The PCB can be connected to an external microcontroller or to the AS5xxx-EK-USB-PB UART Programmer which can be used in combination with the AS5070 Software GUI provided by ams-OSRAM AG.
JP1 is populated with a 1x4 female pin header it is required for the power supply (VCC and GND) and output (OUT). This connector directly fits to the UART Programmer.
All necessary external components C1 (VDD3V3-GND) and C2 (VDD-GND) are already populated to the PCB.
