Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop next generation image sensors for machine vision and AR/VR applications
  • Guide feature and spec definition for future products based on human and machine image quality metrics
  • Develop new products, features, and technologies based on image science
  • Inventing and implementing state of the art machine learning and computer vision algorithms to solve cutting edge problems in image processing
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and provide strong leadership and expertise for supporting existing and initiating new projects
  • Provide strong leadership and expertise in the field of color, image processing and vision science to guide the sensor design and specification
  • Support customer usage and application of their algorithms with new image sensors and imaging systems
  • Develop procedures, software and infrastructure to characterize, calibrate, and test the detection and imaging performance of the new imaging system
  • Cooperating with your team members to prepare presentations, talks, and disclosures to explain your inventions and algorithms
  • Manage project deliverables and schedules to meet commitments to product development teams

Your education and experiences

  • Industry experience of 3+ years in image processing, optics, color science, computer vision, or Ph.D. in similar fields
  • Experience with image processing, computer vision and computational imaging algorithms and development
  • Experience with CMOS image sensors and imaging systems and technology
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Programming and modelling skills in Python, Matlab, or C/C++
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with multi-functional teams
  • Experience with camera calibration or ISP pipeline optimization methods a plus
  • Knowledge in neural network optimization and deep learning architectures a plus
  • Expertise with optical imaging bench-top experiments a plus
