What we offer:

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Submission of application documents, requests and responses to patent, utility model and design procedures using the electronic filing software DPMAdirektPro and Epoline
  • Docketing and checking incoming correspondence from the patent offices, external law firms and service providers in the electronic intellectual property files
  • Entering deadlines in accordance with legal requirements including, data collection and quality assurance of these
  • Handling and docketing of incoming invention disclosures as well as correspondence with the inventors
  • Obtaining the necessary documents, such as translations, drawings and powers of attorney, etc., as well as dealing with formal notifications vis-a-vis authorities and correspondent attorneys
  • Independent monitoring and completion of deadlines as well as updating the electronic files
  • Cooperation and independent correspondence with external attorneys and representatives as well as drawing and translation offices for processing of orders via the electronic partner portal
  • Organization and coordination of application and maintenance decisions on intellectual property rights in electronic conference files
  • Support for projects to change or adapt the patent management system Unycom IPMS as well as in test phases
  • Participation in group-wide special projects in the IP Operations Team

Your education and experiences

  • Successfully completed training as a paralegal
  • Many years of professional experience in the field of intellectual property of at least 5 - 10 years
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multi-faceted and result-oriented environment
  • Independent and responsible way of working
  • You are a team player and appreciate a modern, motivated and international environment
  • Safe handling of MS Office applications
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, good knowledge of spoken and written German is also an advantage
