Your tasks and responsibilities

• Design validation and qualification plans for new various products and root-cause the failures in a proven record time with cross-functional teams across the globe
• Is able to challenge concepts/report with special focus on quality and reliability aspects of membrane-based MEMS products (Microphone, pressure,…etc)
• Understanding MEMS Lifetime, Mission Profile and Reliability modelling (Weibull or Lognormal)
• Key go-to person (contact window) in the Division for any APQ related issues /Task Force for other Quality support functions (Quality Operations, Supplier Quality, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Corporate Quality)
• Working closely with the process team and suppliers during the concept phase till the production phase, and willing to address any issues observed through the development cycle
• Defining DOEs and implementing problem-solving methods, using data-driven approaches to solve quality and reliability issues

Your education and experiences

• Engineering Master in Material Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or related discipline
• Strong (>5yrs) experience in semiconductor industry in the field of Quality / Reliability Engineering
• Very good understanding of quality system requirements (of MEMS, CMOS, Assembly, and the respective manufacturing process.)
• Candidates with Ph.D. in MEMS Acoustics domain will be considered for this position
• Know-How of DOEs and problem-solving methods, showing high analytical skills using data-driven approaches to solve quality and reliability issues
• Several years experience in automotive Quality Engineering, incl. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Safelaunch etc. including IATF 16949. Knowledge in Functional Safety ISO26262
• Excellent communication skills (motivating teams, presenting to customers and internal management/stakeholders)
• Strong/fluent English (spoken and written), additional languages are beneficial
