What we offer:

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • • Technical support interface for Marketing, Product Management, FAE, FSE and customers (2nd level and design-in support)
  • • Also works directly on new sensor development projects and fills the role of digital designer and hardware systems designer
  • • Specification of reference applications for target markets including system architectures, circuits and components
  • • Development of PCB reference designs including testing, characterization and validation
  • • Measurements setup and methods based on C/C++/C#/LABview automation or other programming language/hardware environments
  • • Performance analysis of ams and competitive products. Tear down of end user devices including evaluation reports
  • • Involvement on all technical aspects of products in production, and therefore, being an integral part of the definition and development of future products
  • • Support Marketing and Engineering in work statement preparation
  • • Drafting application notes, articles and presentations
  • • Setup of product presentations and trainings for customers and internal staff
  • • Travel up to 25%

Your education and experiences

  • • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field of study
  • • 5+ years’ experience in software and driver development for mobile embedded platforms.
  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing circuits with digital ICs, including microcontrollers, power supplies, and sensor interfaces
  • • Experience in working with sensors on mobile platforms running Linux or Android OS
  • • Knowledge of light science is a plus
  • • Experience with Qualcomm, ARM and PIC based processors
  • • Experienced at testing and characterization in an electronics lab
  • • Self-starter, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishing tasks
  • • Experience in working with optical/light sensors is a plus
  • • Experience with basic software development in C, Python and/or LabView or other scripting languages
  • Chinese Language Skills a plus
