What we offer:

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Work as technical lead on development activities in cross-functional teams with other Process, Materials, Product and Optical Engineers
  • Define and develop new process flows, processes and design rules required for new products and process platforms
  • Work hands on with processes and process equipment with majority of a working week spent in the cleanroom
  • As process owner you will maintain an up to date knowledge on relevant emerging processes and equipment, a process roadmap and make new equipment purchase recommendations
  • Reporting of technical activities and progress to stakeholders within global organization
  • Drive and promote global cross team & cross divisional collaborations

Your education and experiences

  • University degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences plus 3 years relevant industry experience; or PhD in closely related field. Additional relevant industrial experience would be very beneficial. Position and compensation would reflect experience level
  • Hands on experience with advanced semiconductor processes is required and specific skills in Wafer Level Optics is preferred
  • Experience with Metrology for micro- and nano- optics would be a plus
  • Experience with processes and tools for Agile, Lean, Six Sigma and statistical data analysis / process control (JMP)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems
  • Self-motivated and self-directed individual with team oriented work attitude
  • An advanced level in English (both spoken and written), German is a plus
  • Desire to work within an international team, sporadic international travel may be required
