Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Define & execution company wide application segment strategy for Mobile & Wearable including definition of focus applications & key eco-system partners
  • Identify market trends and emerging application needs and opportunities for Mobile & Wearable segment cross-BL and cross-region
  • Identify & develop new emerging application solution SAM for Mobile & Wearable
  • Prioritize Mobile & Wearable application solution portfolio & opportunities based on integral cross-BU/BL business cases
  • Establish, drive and own the application roadmaps including assessment of competitiveness for solutions and underlying components for Mobile & Wearable
  • Assemble and lead application solutions teams for prioritized Mobile & Wearable solutions (with lead BL, component BLs, regions, Innovation Office, Strategy Office, CRD if relevant)
  • Build up application knowledge to shape roadmap and become a trusted advisor at customer for Mobile & Wearable
  • Assign cross-BL application solution development to lead BU/BL, and monitor execution, for Mobile & Wearable
  • Support lead BU/BL in developing build eco system partnerships to create complete solutions for Mobile & Wearable
  • Organize aligned go-to-market across ams-Osram Group for Mobile & Wearable including definition of application solution marketing collateral, position ams-Osram Group as a trusted advisor
  • Lead the global Mobile & Wearable application marketing team, drive the world-wide global and regional application marketing team Mobile & Wearable
  • Contributes to the definition of the overall GSM Go-To-Market strategy
  • Reports to the Head of Global Application Marketing & Architecture (AMA)

Your education and experiences

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Strategy & Business Development, Application Marketing in Mobile & Health
  • Strategic and business savvy mindset with solid analytical skills
  • Key Mobile & Health customer and relevant eco-system relations, “feel” for the Mobile & Wearable business / OEM environment, high and contagious curiosity
  • Natural, broad technology leader with great communication skills and inspirational, a high personal impact
  • Demonstrated ability and track record to lead, influence and work across organizational boundaries
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize marketing insight and deliver strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation and collaborative skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to global travel according to the needs of the role
