What we offer:

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify key trends in the Spectral sensing market, and understand the relevant solutions
  • Sure in creating the product roadmap for Spectral sensing, ensuring a winning value proposition for ams
  • Prepare continually further review and develop the business case(s), including resource needs (in close alignment with the R&D team of the BL). Balance long term innovations with short term business creation.
  • Develop & prioritize a pipeline of design wins maximizing ROI for ams
  • Accountable for Spectral design wins and project launches to be in spec, in time & in budget
  • Drive the required development of effective materials/demos/samples including supportive organizations in the regions
  • Build, maintain and grow a solid network within major OEM ecosystems (customers / partners / suppliers) at business level with a deep understanding of where they are heading
  • Work with local teams & global sales teams to strengthen and validate the funnel
  • Responsible for definition and execution of the long term revenue plan and roadmap
  • Lead the Segment Team, make choices on priority and focus

Your education and experiences

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • At least 10 years of commercial/marketing experience OEM environment
  • Evident experience in driving growth
  • Focused marketing leader with, a strong long term commercial business sense, inspirational, a high personal impact and an affinity with optical technology
  • Ability to translate market & technology breakthroughs into winning business opportunities
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and drive
  • Taking ownership to ‘make it happen’
  • Well organized, finishing/completing/closing mentality
  • Resilient and persistent
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to move close to one of ams office locations, preferably Jena or Graz
