Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive and support new proof of concepts for key customers by integrating ams IP into e.g. iOS applications.
  • Define and deliver comprehensive competitive analysis with electrical and physical teardowns.
  • Contribute towards definition of future system level technology, product and IP roadmaps.
  • Coordinate and interface with other cross-functional teams, i.e. system architects, product management, IC design, packaging, applications engineering, test development, project management, field applications, etc. to develop complex, integrated system level solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support for internal performance evaluation of the sensors products and external evaluations and demonstrations, aligned to company plans.
  • Identify and work with key ecosystem partners to fill key technology, IP, or resource
  • Support new product development with respect to datasheet conformality toward internal engineering team as well as customer
  • Assist with promoting and designing in advanced sensors into end customer systems, leveraging the reference system platforms developed.
  • Travel globally to meet and work with regional offices, customers and partners

Your education and experiences

  • >10 yrs background in sensor or semiconductor industry, > 10 yrs proven track record in same or similar role
  • Education: Minimum of Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering; PhD a plus.
  • Knowledge in iOS products, systems, and requirements
  • Experience in IC design, packaging, and optics
  • Familiar with data analysis, patent research, and market studies
  • Commercially minded, excellent judgement and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Outstanding presentation skills and written/verbal communication in English
  • Customer oriented personality, extrovert and flexible
  • Experience in multi-location (North America, Europe, Asia) and multi-cultural team management
  • Readiness to travel
  • Fluent in English
