Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Development of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) strategies to improve product yield in highly sensitive low power and low noise products
  • Test-structure development to discover relevant layout dependent effects (LDE) like shallow trench stress (LOD), well proximity effect (WPE), Poly spacing and rounding (PSE) and backend related influences
  • Identification of layout based yield limiting factors by means of multi-variate statistical data analysis
  • Design review at sign-off to avoid DFM related cost factors
  • SPICE modelling of LDE and reliability effects
  • Technical project management, reporting and documentation

Your education and experiences

  • Master degree in physics or electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience in the related field
  • Solid know-how in semiconductor device physics and background
  • Fundamental knowledge in IC design tools and basic SPICE knowledge
  • Documented experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and Analysis of Variances (ANOVA)
  • High social skills and ability to work in a team
