Types of job - Functions

Research and Development

The R&D team at ams develops new semiconductor, test and software technologies. Members of the team have expertise in physics, chemistry, materials science and other science disciplines.

Finance & Controlling

The responsibilities of the finance and controlling department include budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, data analysis, production control, investment analysis, asset valuation and corporate finance.

Global Sales & Marketing

Members of the marketing team are responsible for developing product and sales propositions, creating corporate and sales messages, and organizing the effective communication of ams values and propositions worldwide.

Quality

Quality professionals at ams develop policies and processes, perform quality planning, auditing and assurance, and solve problems that affect quality in production and in field operations.

Human Resources

The activities of the HR department include hiring new employees, compensation and benefits, travel services, payroll, training and leadership development, employer branding, corporate culture, and communication with current and potential employees.

IT & Org Development

IT staff provide innovative software solutions across all areas of operation at ams. This gives IT professionals opportunities to gain experience in many corporate functions.

Strategy and M&A

Members of the team develop the M&A roadmap, execute M&A projects, organize the post-merger integration of acquired companies and implement business process improvements.

Legal

The legal team provides day-to-day legal counsel in all legal matters. They review and support the negotiations of various internationl contracts, prepare and supervise the Annual General Meeting, advise on corporate law matters and M&A projects as well as serve as the legal interface to technical experts in patent infringement cases.

Operations & Supply Chain Management

The responsibilities of the OSCM department include the entire wafer manufacturing, packaging and test, sales and operations planning, as well as logistics and global procurement. Especially our team in the Fab has a technical background, e.g. in electronic und process engineering, physics and chemistry.
