What we offer:

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for development of optical metrology, including (but not limited to) measurement of aspherical optical lens
  • Responsible for analysis of optical measurement, applying design iteration correction and validation of the iteration change
  • Responsible for MSA, GR&R study and qualification of new metrology tools
  • Responsible for continuous development of metrology methodology as part of continuous improvement activities
  • Responsible for development of automated script for big data analysis
  • Responsible for drafting of production documentation for handover to NPI and manufacturing engineering

Your education and experiences

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering / Science (Physics)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in optical manufacturing industry
  • Advanced knowledge in Matlab is compulsory; knowledge in other programming language such as Python & .NET will be advantageous
  • Experience in optical design & simulation will be highly considered
  • Hands-on experience on stylus-contact optical measurement tool will be beneficial
  • Strong in statistical data analysis and proficient in using data analysis software tools such as JMP or Minitab
  • Knowledge on CAD software packages such as Solidworks and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Independent and strong aptitude for research and development with high motivation to strive for meeting deliverables
  • Meticulous with strong analytical skills in troubleshooting and able to perform under pressure in a cross functional team
