Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Support the master production of micro-optical components
  • Ownership of the wafer dicing process for Engineering and R&D activities
  • Collaboration in the replication process of wafer level optics incl. programming of jetter systems, mask-aligners, UV-replication equipment, etc.
  • Conduction of visual inspections using microscopes and semi-automatic VI systems
  • Contribute in product and process development in different projects
  • Generate proper documentations of workflows and results

Your education and experiences

  • Basic education in a technical field – completed apprenticeship as physics laboratory assistant or similar would be favorable
  • Knowledge and profound interest of Micro- and Nanotechnology cleanroom processes (photolithography, wafer dicing, UV and thermal curing, pick and place, etc.)
  • Very good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems
  • Self-motivated and self-directed individual with team oriented work attitude
  • Accuracy and self-reliance in planning and executing tasks
  • Experience of working in a cleanroom
  • A good level in German and English communication (spoken and written)
