Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Every product/process line requires reliability qualification testing as part of new product introduction process. Reliability Engineers develop, setup and execute reliability tests to ensure that the product is fully functional and throughout its projected useful life, that the product can meet or exceed industry standard requirements and customer requirements for product reliability.
  • Design and sourcing of burn-in/reliability boards, drivers, set-ups and ovens (including documentation)
  • Responsible for timely execution of reliability testing for products and technologies (Qualification testing, ORT, monitoring, special investigations, electrical testing, full documentation)
  • Training of technicians and operators in electrical testing of devices and reliability tool operations
  • Transfer reliability test setups to secondary laboratories
  • Development of best practices regarding reliability testing
  • Equipment evaluation and qualification/buy-off
  • Maintenance and sustaining work on laboratory tools and equipment, typically lab bench equipment and environmental test chambers
  • Continuous improvement of Reliability Test Procedures and Tools
  • Act as reliability test representative to internal and external costumers, sib-contractors and suppliers

Your education and experiences

  • Technical Degree (Master, BSc or equivalent) in electrical engineering, materials science, physics or similar
  • Experience in design of burn-in/reliability boards and drivers is beneficial
  • Experience in a reliability testing lab is beneficial
  • Knowledge in JEDEC, Telcordia GR-468 and other reliability standards
  • Knowledge in CAD and assembly design is beneficial
  • Know-how electrical laboratory bench testing and circuit debugging beneficial
  • Know how in product reliability testing is beneficial
  • Good social skills and team leading capabilities
  • Capable to succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to work in an international team
