Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Team Management:
  • Lead the Supply Chain Planning Team in order to deliver company revenue target with executing build agreement, agreed sourcing decision, and inventory strategy for dedicated Divisions/ Business Lines
  • Build a competent Team with professional planning concept and skills to work independent while sharing learning to grow together
  • Ensure sufficient resources to support fast emerging new product ramp up, to secure commit project delivery, and success to mass production to support the business & customers
  • Ensure proper levels of escalation and timely escalate issues
  • Align with relevant stakeholders from Div / BL Operations, Global Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Lines and Divisions and if required also with Sales & Marketing, or customers
  • Supply Chain Planning:
  • Responsibility for the full supply plan (master plan)
  • Ensure the team is ready to support and run simulations with different business assumptions depending on various circumstances driven by a market / company changes
  • Make timely decisions in full alignment with key stakeholders supported by full risk & impact assessment
  • Participate in strategic meetings eg. sourcing, Supporting new flows and subsidiaries related to NPI, and (global) improvement / optimization initiatives
  • Provide network and detailed planning, analysis & verification
  • Ensure quality of planning relevant master data
  • Drive handling of exceptions (manual planning, prioritization management, team coordination)
  • Outline Revenue projection implications
  • Strategy & Roadmap Execution:
  • Deploy aligned business target on timely matter, setup appropriate KPI to monitor progress
  • Initiate and encourage structural improvement initiatives in both planning system and standardized procedures within the team and across different departments to improve transparency, efficiency, and flexibility to market changes
  • Facilitate subject and roadmap oriented discussions, encourage new ideas and have room for trial and errors
  • Contributing to Global SCM Roadmap and continuous Process Improvements

Your education and experiences

  • Academic degree or equivalent in Economics, Logistics or Engineering
  • At least 10-15 years solid experience in Supply Chain Planning or Integrated Business Planning Role in a multinational company, esp. planning manager experience is preferred
  • Ability to drive decisions in a complex multi-stakeholder environment. Strong personality is required eg. to ensure the best supply requirement signal is send to our manufacturing sites & the necessary improvements are achieved in a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong Communication skills & Leadership competences
  • Ability to lead independently a global team
  • Strong analytical problem solver
  • Flexibility and fast react to changing business environment
  • Knowledge on corresponding IT-Systems is highly preferred (SAP-APO CTM, SAP-R/3)
  • Experience in leading multicultural teams; a Global & Team oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English, Chinese, additional language skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%, international)
