Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Overall Director for NPI program management to coordinate the program group
  • A strong central figure in the program group that can support to drive the implementation of the NPI methodology in the back end
  • Collaborate and work closely across division in setting goals for ams back-end programs to ensure organization strategic objectives and goals are met within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Lead and influence cross functional stake holders (product development, engineering, quality assurance, supply chain management, manufacturing and suppliers) to ensure seamless transition of NPI programs from development stage to product launch/mass production
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of ams product life cycle management and follow through the implementation of NPI methodology and checklist
  • Strategically map out program schedule to improve and enhance productivity of NPI procedures and resources
  • Implement efficient data gathering to track and monitor program performance, progress and determine improvement needs
  • Decision maker in daily operational work that support and implement NPI program objectives
  • Partnership within other NPI functional managers to analyze program gaps and present findings or escalate help to management if needed
  • Lead and supervise teams of NPI project managers by providing feedback and support in resolving arising roadblocks
  • Keep senior management informed with accurate reports and presentation

Your education and experiences

  • Minimum Masters Degree in Engineering, Management or related field
  • Preference for Project Management Program (PMP) certification
  • Proven experience as Program Director or other Managerial position
  • Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with strong knowledge in performance evaluation techniques
  • Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Organized and detail-oriented person
  • Exceptional English communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Expertise in back-end technologies preferred
  • Able to adapt to rapid changing environments, initiative and self-drive, self-confident, excellent communication skills, dedicated and able to work under pressure
