Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Define and size market segments relevant to ams; build proprietary market models as needed
  • Consolidate market picutres and models across the company
  • Steer cross-divisional / cross-functional team
  • Compile and deliver business intelligence reports to end user on a regular basis
  • Develop market studies and predictive analytics that can be shared internally and externally with partners, customers and influencers
  • Setup processes and tools to enable fast and direct access to market data
  • Drive community building of market research experts at ams
  • Work with third party analyst and research firms to accurately position ams in external market reporting
  • Drive research product procurement process: assess and compile internal demand, select vendors
  • Advice internal stakeholder on research vendor and product selection

Your education and experiences

  • 5+ years experience in Market Research and Market Intelligence
  • Succesful strategic market inteligence expert who is comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in building complex market sizing and segmentation models
  • Demonstrated experience in building and shaping a Market Intelligence function and team
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in business or related science / engineering disciplines
  • Experience with working in a highly dynamic environment
  • Experience with vendor negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Relationship builder; good listener; values input and stimulates dialogue
  • Posititve attitude; dynamic, proactive; well respected by peers
