Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Working in a multidisciplinary team being responsible of the boards design for opto-electronic sensors
  • Develop and enhance new and current circuit solutions
  • Provide support to PCB designers, manufacturing and packaging teams when required
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing designs
  • Assist in preparing test procedures and developing test fixtures to verify PCB functions
  • Test, develop and de-bug designs in the lab
  • Analyze and respond to issues as it arrives
  • Develop and maintain relations with other departments while different phases of product development
  • Evaluate engineering design and head project engineering design specific to electrical discipline
  • Suggest modifications to develop and design to enhance quality
  • Develop electrical projects analysis to include preliminary design and related calculations
  • Develop technical construction specifications
  • Review designs development for conformance with applicable codes, utilizing engineering standards along with good engineering practices
  • Sharing the responsibility in Product Design team with all the members
  • Ongoing support to other members of the AMS design team locally and abroad
  • Contributing to the ongoing creation of a positive, productive work environment
  • Follow departmental policies and safety regulations
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the work time

Your education and experiences

  • Candidates must have a minimum 5 years of experiences working in a similar position, should be familiar in handle multidisciplinary technical teams engaged in the product design and have a completed education, preferably a Master or higher in Electronic Engineering
  • Strong background and experience of PCB and Ceramic boards electrical design
  • Solid understanding of basic circuit design
  • Good knowledge of ECAD tools (Altium, Orcad)
  • Knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD is a plus)
  • Good experience designing boards for very small electro-optics components
  • Able to manage own schedule and technical work products
  • Ability to work under pressure, if necessary, and to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication, organization skills and initiative
  • Have a very good level in English communication (spoken and written) German is a plus
