Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Setup, implement and control a companywide sourcing process to select (external) sources to support and provide solutions for new and future requirements (e.g. for Materials and Equipment)
  • Adapt and improve the already existing process and methodologies to fit into the new sourcing process (e.g. for Foundry & Back End)
  • Define the roles and objectives of the cross functional sourcing board / sourcing team /technology expert teams within this process, and setup and coordinate a regular meeting structure
  • Execute companywide trainings and coaching to create awareness of the importance of this new process for all future sourcing decisions
  • Support each sourcing team stake holder to implement a strategic and operational continuous improvement processes
  • Work together with sourcing team stake holders to the continuous improvement processes
  • Regularly control and review of progress / implementation of the agreed process
  • Provide progress reports to management with advise for improvement where necessary
  • Ensure that the sourcing teams work with tight with R&D to enable early supplier involvement to allow into DFM for new and future projects and technologies, coordinated by procurement
  • Set up a proper training structure to support to create a good team of experts in Procurement able to provide commercial feedback on new projects (buyers who participate in the sourcing teams to understand the cost structure of technology / material)
  • Make sure the sourcing process is triggered in case of completely new technologies and requirements for which no sourcing team has been set up
  • Avoid new sourcing activities by creating awareness companywide to Standardize and Re-Use current materials, technologies and sources for new global projects
  • Support to setup a partnership base with technology partner to whom ams-technologies need to be transferred
  • Create a process with clear responsibilities for all cross functional stakeholders to ensure participation and successful transfer as required, while IP is properly protected and secured

Your education and experiences

  • Minimum Bachelor in Business Administration or technical degree
  • Experience in commercial area (Procurement, Sales & Marketing)
  • Project & Process management skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Angestellte-2019-04-09.pdf).
We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
