Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Defining the right system solutions / products with the right features for the targeted applications
  • Well connected to the field to specify differentiated features
  • Owner of the system solution / product road-map
  • Driver of innovation and IP building blocks development – PM ensures that IP building blocks are on the OSS R&D roadmap
  • Coordination between Marketing, Program Management, Architecture and Operations during project execution and product launch (e.g. handling trade-offs)
  • Technical contributors to promotional materials (presentations, leaflet, best practice use case), datasheet authoring
  • Product and solution life-cycle management
  • Guidance to standardization activities
  • Representation of OSS in AMS wide technical activities
  • Defining and supervising the execution of demos in alignment with segments

Your education and experiences

  • Technical education (Master of Management and Information Technologies, Optoelectronics, Physics, Material Science, Electronics or related
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management
  • Experience in the field of optical, color and spectral sensor ICs
  • Experience in writing specifications, concept studies and vendor comparison
  • Knowledge of optoelectronics packaging, multi-layer board design and product reliability is a plus
  • Customer orientated personality, extrovert and flexible readiness for travel
  • Communication skills and proficiency in English
